ENG: What a crazy week it has been! David and I were on a plane every day from Monday through Friday and went to Cologne, Amsterdam and Frankfurt. Firstly, we had a really exciting meeting in Cologne, which was partially about my own production plans. I still have high hopes that I will be able to show you the final online version soon. Then on Tuesday we went to Amsterdam for celebrating the launch of the new Doutzen Kroes x Hunkemöller campaign. Wednesday night I hosted my own event together with the Swedish online shop Desenio in Hamburg. I was able to host a small vernissage in the St. Pauli museum for the new ‘Studio Stadtkind’ collection, which we produced in Hamburg and Berlin this summer – and it was so much fun and really exciting for me personally. It was a completely new feeling to be the face of such an international campaign and I am so incredibly happy about all the positive feedback. Many thanks for all the pictures you sent me from your apartments, I am so thankful for all the feedback. :-) Thursday we then went to Frankfurt for a night, since the designer Marcell von Berlin opened up his dreamy Pop-Up store in the Goethestraße and brought a little bit of Berlin to Frankfurt. A really strong and individualist store with convincing fashion and a relaxed opening, which was really entertaining. The end of the turbulent week was the blogger flea market in downtown Hamburg, which I hosted together with Sofia and Milena at SecondElla. Thank you so much to all the visitors and a big apology for the sometimes long waiting times at the entrance. You really, positively took us apart! There will definitely be another blogger flea market soon – I will keep you guys posted.

To Do: This week we have a number of meetings lined up in Hamburg, such as the Edited dinner tonight and the visit of the myClassico store tomorrow, take a regular look at my Instagram stories for more information. I will then be back in our college-day home Cologne for 1,5 days this Saturday. I LOVE the city and can’t wait to be back. What we will be doing there? Mou Boots invited us to an event and I am really excited to see some familiar faces there.
E: I spent most of last week in Munich with David to take part in the press days of various PR agencies and to look and marvel at the new spring/summer collections. In connection to this, there were many showrooms and presentations, which gave me lots of inspiration for new looks. The trip to Munich was definitely worth it, simply to introduce David to these appointments and clients. Back in Hamburg we were able to take some time off to continue furnishing and decorating the office. We are definitely happy with how it currently is and David’s work has improved our productivity and flexibility, which is very obvious during the weekly work.

To Do: We have some new exciting projects lined up this week. Already yesterday I was in Cologne, since we had a really important meeting regarding my own collection (@by_aylinkoenig) and we would like to expand this field to another exciting cooperation partner. Today I am moving on to Amsterdam for celebrating the launch of the new Doutzen Kroes x Hunkemöller collection. Wednesday will then also be a really exciting day for me personally, as I will be hosting a small vernissage together with the Swedish online shop Desenio. A couple of weeks ago we worked on a poster collection with their production team and brought it to life in Hamburg and Berlin. I will be able to show you the final results on Wednesday and I’m already looking forward to your feedback. Then on Thursday, I will be going to Frankfurt to take part in the opening of a Berlin fashion label. Of course I will try to take you along on the ride through my Instagram Stories during all those days and I am looking forward to an eventful week myself. By the way, this Sunday, the shops in Hamburg will be open and I am really happy to take part in another blogger flea market at SecondElla. Sofia and Milena will be a part of the team this time and we would be so excited to see you in the store between 01.00 – 06.00 pm and to spend some time together. I will radically sort out my closet and I am looking forward to seeing you there!
ENG: A rather quiet week is behind us now and we tried to get our office back in order, get our new team member David fully on track and start with new projects. Amongst other things, my poster collection in collaboration with the Swedish online shop Desenio will be launched next week. I got to take a look at the final choice of photos and I am very excited for the start of the sale of them from October 31st on. We will have a Vernissage alongside the team in Hamburg but more details will follow next week. Additionally, I sent out a newsletter last week for the first time in a while and I am already planning a designer sale for our next one. So definitely stay tuned, it’ll be worth it!
Favorites of the Week:
To Do: David and I will be going to Munich for three days from tomorrow on to take part in the press days of a couple of press agencies and to get insights into the new collections. We are also awaiting an exciting delivery for our ‘by_aylinkoenig’ collection and hope, that we will be able to go online really soon. I would like to mention that we rethought our strategy that we originally had in place and are now producing in Europe, and also want to start with two pieces instead of only one. Please just have a little more patience and thank you so much for all your feedback and interest that you have shown on Instagram. It will start soon. :-)
ENG: We currently have what is probably the most beautiful golden October in forever in Hamburg, which makes me incredibly happy that we can spend the time at home right now. Especially since we have a new team member since the beginning of October, David, and are even more flexible and ambitious now and working on new projects all the time. This of course also includes an intense preparation, but the first impressions are absolutely positive and promising. Other than that we have tried to use the wonderful weather to create content and organize ourselves again as a new team.
Favorites of the Week:
To Do: We will be faithful to our Hamburg home this week and will stay here, since we have a couple of meetings and events coming up. On Thursday we will be a part of the exclusive Launch of the new Stella McCartney collection at the U2, and I will also be going to the hairdresser this week: I urgently need a new colour and a different cut, and have been playing around with the thought of cutting them a little shorter for a while now, but am still unsure about it. The result and exciting news will of course all follow via my Instagram stories, so stay tuned. :-)
ENG: A very exciting week with many interesting experiences now is behind us. First we went to Paris for Fashion Week which is always the closing of the International Fashion Weeks. I fell in love with Paris all over again, especially in terms of fashion the city has so much to offer, which makes me want to commute between Hamburg and Paris if I could. From Paris we then went to the Côte d’Azur to celebrate the launch of the latest Pandora collection in a dreamy location between Nice and Cannes. Pandora created new bracelets that can be styled and put together individually. Definitely take a look online, I’m sure you will love the #Reflexions bracelets. With the Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan and Paris and then the launch in Nice we definitely had a turbulent but amazing month behind us. I have put together blogposts with the looks from Milan and New York and there have also been a number of street style looks that you may have seen online.
Favorites of the Week:
To Do: We will be in Hamburg all week to start working with our new employee David and to continue working on my very first collection (@by_aylinkoenig). We are currently finalizing the last steps and are very excited for the sale to begin and to get your feedback. In addition to that there is a very exciting sale happening on westwing.de that you shouldn’t miss!
ENG: September is always incredibly busy due to the fashion weeks, but I love this month. Especially regarding fashion, since the transitioning time between summer and fall starts and you can wear pretty much anything you want. Dresses with boots, coats with denim shorts and many more combinations are possible. This past week we were in Milan for fashion week, I was able to attend many great shows such as Fendi, Max Mara, Sportmaxx and Roberto Cavalli as well as the Jimmy Choo, Pomellato and Bally presentations. I can say one thing already: The fashion trends for the upcoming spring season are fantastic. Besides intense colors and neon highlights, logos and oversized cuts are still on trend. In addition to that we will see large sun glasses, which I am already in love with and can’t wait for them to arrive.
Favorites of the Week:
To Do: We are in Hamburg this week to finalize our collection ‘by_aylinkoenig’ and are really hoping that we will be able to go live within the next two weeks. Of course I will keep you posted and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart already for all the support and kind words. In addition to that we have to plan the upcoming week, since we will be going to Paris for a night on Monday to then go to Nice for two more afterwards. But you will find out more about this next week!
New In: You might have seen it on my Instagram account? Beautiful new Fendi boots were able to move in with me, and I LOVE them more than anything already and will probably wear them the entire fall and winter season. In addition to that, Santoni surprised me with two beautiful pairs of boots; one is an over knee boot and the other khaki coloured ankle boots. Lastly, a super cool Christian Dior T-Shirt was added to my closet, which is from the current menswear collection, but still fits me perfectly.
ENG: My lovelies, please excuse how quiet it has been on the blog lately, but besides New York Fashion week and our ‘by_aylinkoenig’ project we just had so much to do every day that there was only little time for the blog. Of course that is supposed to change soon, which is why I am starting with an update on the past week and days. We spent the last week n New York, to be part of NYFW for the third time. Besides the dreamy Zimmermann show, which will take me to my financial ruin again next year, the Mansur Gavirel show and Jonathan Simkhai presentations were among my absolute favorites. NY is an incredible intense and also inspiring time. We were able to sleep at the wonderful 11 Howard, which is located perfectly in Soho. Besides stylish boutiques, hip cafes and restaurants, Soho offers such a high quality of life and so much tolerance for the self-employed and wild thinkers. Thank you so much again too for all the kind words to my New York looks.
Favorites of the Week:
To Do: I was able to get a skin analysis and treatment for my face yesterday with Babor, which was so interesting. My data was measured and compared to 100 women my age and it was so interesting to see how my skin did in the different categories. Other than that we are currently enjoying the short time in Hamburg, while we are preparing for the next Fashion Week in Milan. We are on our way to Italy as of tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. Please stay tuned through my Instagram stories, we have many exciting shows and presentations lined up within the next couple of days.
New In: The neon trend seems to have arrived completely in my closet, which is why I got the green and pink Prada bag from Luisaviaroma – I just couldn’t get around it. Apart from that I have been looking for a Fendi poncho, which I now finally own. Additionally, the new collection from Edited arrived, meaning I can really dig in too! In the end I went for this camel coat, the cashmere sweatshirt, this leather legging and a scarf, and especially when it comes to fall clothing, I am really looking forward to the seasons changing. Last but not least these adidas sneakers arrived, which makes me so happy especially with the other Fashion Weeks lined up.
ENG: You guys, I know that last week was pretty quiet on the blog, and I have even skipped on the weekly focus for the first time in forever, since a very special project was on my agenda. I modelled for a very special poster collection from Monday through Friday, in collaboration with the swedish online-shop DESENIO, which will be available by the end of October online. Besides beautiful pictures of Berlin & Hamburg, there will be 16 posters with me in different situations, and as you can imagine, I am already excited to see the results. About a week ago I had the first ever facial treatment of my life at the Babor Store in Hamburg and I can’t stop gushing about it! My face was cleaned to the core and I can already feel a great improvement of my overall skin. For the next three months, I will go to a monthly treatment and will definitely keep you posted on how my skin will (furthermore) improve.

To Do: As I have mentioned in my Instagram stories, ‘Team Aylin König’ is working on a very special project, which is about realizing a special personal dream of mine. Take a look at @by_aylinkoenig, to get regular updates and infos within the next few weeks. We are all so excited and hope, that you will also like this idea. Maybe you have a suspicion already? We will be spending this week almost completely in Hamburg, since we will be back on our travels from the beginning of September. I will be in Amsterdam with Jaguar for a night, before leaving for a week in New York for Fashion Week on Thursday. My excitement for both Amsterdam and New York is huge and I will of course keep you updated through my Instagram Stories. But before it’s time for those trips, I have two great events in Hamburg coming up: I will take you on a tour to explore the ‘Alsterhaus’ on Thursday, which has so much to offer in terms of fashion, beauty and food. Then on Friday, the long anticipated opening of the Westwing Pop-Up Store at ‘Neuen Wall’ in Hamburg is happening, making an offline shopping experience possible with all the beautiful interior-and lifestyle products. Take a look at my Instagram Account that day too, I would very much appreciate it. :-)
New In: I am excited like a child on Christmas about the arrival of my package by @threadsstyling. In collaboration with this personal shopper I picked a Louis Vuitton phone case, these trendy Louis Vuitton Boots and a fur Fendi bag, which are usually always out of stock. I have gotten some of the most wanted pieces via Threads in the past already – you can just send a quick whatsapp message to the team, if you are looking for a specific ‘it-piece’. And I can only recommend their Instagram account as a source of inspiration, too. Many of you have been asking about my shell necklace via Instagram. You can find the beautiful products by the label Tohum-Design on Net-A-Porter, from which I got a bracelet and an ankle chain besides the necklace, which I all love and can only recommend.
ENG: We are back from our road trip through Italy and are currently enjoying our time in Hamburg. We have been back in the country since Thursday and went to the Justin Timberlake concert alongside my parents the same night, which was unbelievably great and had an incredible atmosphere. We then went back home on Friday for just a short trip to rewatch the video and the photos of our wedding. The atmosphere was so wonderful, and everyone was back in full wedding mode straight away and we all would have loved to just turn back time and be back at July 7th. Saturday Lauri celebrated her 30th birthday in Hamburg, for which Karin came from Salzburg and then stayed at our place for the night. The party was amazing, everyone gave everything and we danced until the break of dawn. We therefore spent the sunday rather relaxed on the sofa.

To Do: We will be in Hamburg almost all week, which I am really excited for, because we will be able to attend a few meetings with clients. I will take you on those over my Instagram account during the next few days, there are definitely some very exciting ones coming up. In addition to that, I will publish a blogpost on our Italy trip in the next few days, too. I received so many questions from you guys, which is why I want to focus on the particular spots and stops and my personal highlights in the upcoming post again. This weekend I will be going to the Dockville Festival in Hamburg with my guys Pascal & David, which was a birthday gift from a while ago. I am looking forward to the weekend with the two so much, before I am headed to Berlin for a big project this Saturday. I can tell you this much already: we are shooting for four days with Desenio for a new campaign, which I am so excited for. I hope that I can tell you more next week!
ENG: Ciao! We are still in Bella Italia. Our spontaneous road trip was such a great idea and I am already excited to write a detailed post about it soon. We are currently in Rapallo, since from here we are able to take the ferry towards Portofino and Cinque Terre. We have spent the last couple of days in the beautiful Forte Dei Marmi, at the Tuscany coast, where many Italians spend their summers. It is absolutely dreamy here, but as I said: More to come about this trip and the different stops soon.
Favorites of the Week:
To Do: We will be in Italy until Wednesday, before going back home to Hamburg. My parents are coming to our house on Thursday night, since the four of us are going to the Justin Timberlake concert, which we have been looking forward to for weeks now. Unfortunately I won’t be able to take part in this season’s Copenhagen Fashion Week, but I hope that everyone who is going will have an amazing time. We are starting our Fashion Week Season in New York this September. On Friday we are going back to my childhood home in Bremen, where my mom will be hosting the entire family to look at the photos and watch the wedding video, to relive our wedding. Crazy to think that is has been an entire month of being married already! The on Saturday we are celebrating Lauri’s ‘Dirty Thirty’ in style in Hamburg, and we are already looking forward to the reunion with many dear friends and of course to a spectacular party – I have high expectations. ;-)
New In: I have been a really good girl in terms of shopping here in Italy, and really only bought the pair of Balenciaga Boots at the designer outlet ‘The Mall’, which I had been wanting for such a long time – and they were on an -80% sale! Even though my colour combination is from the last season, it was always out of stock, which is why I am even happier now to have them. You can find here the new autumn/winter color combination. I was obviously tempted to buy an entirely new closet at the designer outlet near florence or in the many boutiques in Forte Dei Marmi, but just being able to get so much inspiration for new stylings is already worth so much. :-) I hope you all have a wonderful week and I am sending you love from Bella Italia!
