ENG: Almost several months ago, we were allowed to stay a few days on the Maldives, where my boyfriend and me celebrated our engagement. Today I would like to introduce a small hotel post with a corresponding video from this time because this resort is the true paradise.
When you are looking for a luxury resort between the more than 1,000 islands of the Maldives, then you have to visit the Park Hyatt resort on the small island Hadahaa at the Gaafu Alif atoll. The island is just 55 kilometers away from the equator and a true piece of jewelry, the Park Hyatt has 50 villas with a maximum of privacy and a luxury ambience. There are 36 villas with an own entrance to the beach as well as 14 overwater villas with an amazing view on the ocean and a phenomenal sunset. All of them offer the amenities for an incredible stay, especially the open air showers are kind of a real SPA indulgence.
The special feature of the resort is its jungle character being likewise the center and starting point of the Park Hyatt conception. The palms form the inner circle, whereas the beach villas characterize the outer area. Even the service and hospitality are remarkable, due to the small size of the island there results a very pleasant and almost familiar flair. To be honest the island’s activities are limited, it is much more about the experiences on and underwater and of course we had to get an own idea of it: During the guided house reef tour we could spot a swarm of small sharks, the whole underwater world of the Park Hyatt is breathtaking and very impressive. In addition to that we got a very pleasant massage in the beautiful SPA area being divided into several small sections and an own pool for the perfect recreation and relaxation in paradise. Even with regard to dishes and drinks, the hotel leaves nothing to be desired, not only the breakfast and à la carte restaurant open the heart to intense emotions but also the regular BBQ evenings at the beach with regional and international specialities guarantee unforgettable and fantastic moments.
We were allowed to stay four nights on the island and we had really a great time. In the following you can find some pictures as well as a short video for getting a better impression of our great time at the Park Hyatt.
